Prof. Havar Mammadov, the rector of BEU, has met with director of Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Management Studies, prof. Ashutosh Misal, managing director Bharat Chavan Patil, director of SAMViT Management Consultants Pushkar Kulkarni.

          Giving detailed information about the University, the Rector brought to the attention that training specialists on the specialties of engineering, economics, eduation was carried out at BEU. Noting activity directions, as well as extensive international relations of BEU, the Rector added that preparing joint programs and projects, organizing student-teacher exchanges and conferences, conducting joint scientific researches were possible for the further development of cooperation with the Institute.

Head of the delegation, prof. Ashutosh Misal, director of Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Management Studies, thanked for the warm welcome and provided an information the Institute. Prof. A.Misal emphasized that the Institute started its first cooperation in Azerbaijan with BEU by signing a cooperation agreement.

The guests noted the increasing interest in India in studying abroad, especially in Azerbaijan, and  expressed that they were keen on the exchange of student and teachers, and the preparation of joint programs and projects with BEU.

Later, the prospects for further cooperation, as well as the organization of a joint summer schools in 2020 and other areas were discussed at the meeting.
