The number of admissions to BEU has doubled this year

Baku Engineering University (BEU) has recorded high indicators for admission to the bachelor's level for the academic year 2024/2025. Despite the nearly doubling of this year's admission plan to the university, admission at the undergraduate level was 95 percent, including 100 percent in groups IV and V, 98.4 percent in group II, and 89 percent in group I. 50 percent of applicants who choose a higher education institution will study on the basis of the state order.

After the first stage, a total of 2,108 people were admitted to the university in 36 majors, which means a double increase compared to last year. This is a first in the history of BEU.

In addition, the number of high-scoring applicants who prefer BEU has almost doubled compared to last year. 265 of those admitted scored above 500, and 52 scored between 600-700. Majors chosen by high-achieving applicants include information technology, information security, computer engineering, computer science, chemical engineering, as well as logistics and transport security, chemistry, finance, biotechnology, industrial engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, and business management. The applicant who was admitted to BEU with the highest score chose the "Chemical Engineering" specialty.

Necessary information regarding the registration of persons choosing BEU is posted on the university's website (https://beu.edu.az/az/announcement/baki-muhendislik-universitetine-qebul-olan-abituriyentlerin-nezerine-413and social network accounts. Those admitted to higher education institutions must register electronically through the portal.edu.az website from August 28 to September 6 (until 18:00).

From August 28 to September 2, there will be a selection of qualifications for the vacant plan seats.

This year, 1540 of the planned places allocated at the undergraduate level of BEU are intended for the Azerbaijani section (full-time), 220 for part-time education, and 525 for the English section (full-time).
