Two BEU Graduates Win "Yukselish" Competition

Two Baku Engineering University (BEU) graduates have been among the winners of the fifth season of the "Yukselish" competition, established by Presidential Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated July 26, 2019.

One of the 20 winners who scored the highest points among 124 candidates participating in the final stage, Farid Mustafayev, received his bachelor's degree in "World Economy" from BEU and his second education in "Accounting and Finance" from the University of Manchester, Great Britain. He currently works as head of the Model Risk Management Department at the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The other winner of the competition, Ibrahim Mammadov, received his bachelor's degree in "Business Organization and Management" from Azerbaijan State University of Economics and his master's degree in "Economics and Management of Production and Service Sectors" from Baku Engineering University. He works as director of the finance and accounting department at "Tabaterra Leaf" LLC. He is also a member of ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).

The BEU graduates who successfully passed the five stages of the "Yukselish" competition, organized to identify talented and high-potential young people and support their development, won the title by distinguishing themselves with their intellectual skills, analytical thinking abilities and managerial potential. This success is also the result of modern educational approaches applied at BEU, curriculum based on practical knowledge and skills, as well as an environment focused on students' leadership and personal development. The innovative and analytical thinking style formed at the university, interactive lessons and project-based learning methods make an important contribution to graduates achieving high results in real life and their careers.

On behalf of BEU, we congratulate our graduates and wish them success in their future activities!
