Valentin Molina Moreno, Professor of the University of Granada, Spain, has visited the Baku Engineering University (BEU) within the framework of the Erasmus+ exchange program.
The professor representing the Faculty of Business Administration of the higher educational institution delivered a presentation and lecture to the students of BEU.
Mentioning historical and geographical information about Spain, the professor gave full information to the students about the activities of the University of Granada, its position in national and international rating agencies, education at the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels, student quota, internationalization policy.
After the presentation about Granada University, the second most prestigious higher education institution of his country, the Spanish guest delivered a lecture on the state of the environment and research goals on the productive resources of the planet. In his lecture, he discussed the correct use of natural resources, circular economy theory, concepts of green economy and blue economy, typical circular economy model around the world, etc. He also talked about joint efforts, new challenges and decisive decisions in the field of prevention of climate changes and elimination of global consequences in the modern world.
Valentín Molina Moreno, who specially highlighted COP29, the 29th session of 2024 UN Climate Change Conference, noted that Azerbaijan is currently in the center of attention of the international world, as important decisions for the world in this field will be made in Baku.
The professor made his speeches in an interactive format with the students and answered the questions they were interested in.
