A meeting was held with the aim of establishing cooperative relations between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP).

Representatives from the universities' international relations and scientific research departments participated in the meeting.

First, necessary information was provided about the activities of both universities, their international cooperation directions, and implemented projects. It was noted that establishing cooperation between BEU and TUP, one of the Philippines' leading higher education institutions, would create an important scientific and academic bridge between the two universities. The significance of this partnership was also emphasized in terms of gaining international experience for students and faculty, participating in joint scientific projects, and benefiting from new opportunities.   

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on student and faculty exchange, implementation of joint research projects, creation of various collaborative programs, as well as cooperation opportunities in engineering and technology fields. At the same time, issues regarding the organization of mutual visits and preparation of a memorandum draft in the near future were discussed.

The parties reached an agreement on taking concrete steps toward developing cooperation.
