Baku Engineering University (BEU), “Azerbaijan Stock Market Participants Association” Public Union and “Invest-AZ Investment Company” CJSC have jointly organized a seminar on “Practical activity in financial markets”. The main purpose of the seminar was to inform BEU students about the financial markets, including the history of the stock exchange, the need for its establishment, types, participants and the motives for trading on the stock exchange.

     Opening the event, the head of the Finance Department of BEU, PhD, in Economics Fuzuli Aliyev introduced the guests to the students. He spoke about the importance of the seminar and called on students to be active in the seminar.

    Then the training manager of “Invest-AZ Investment Company” CJSC, PhD. in Economics Rovshan Mammadov and chief specialist of the "Azerbaijan Stock Market Participants Association" Public Union Ali Huseynli made speeches on "Practical activity in the financial markets" and "About financial markets in Azerbaijan", accordingly. 

    The seminar also discussed the possibility of making a profit from the purchase and sale of financial assets, marginal trading, Meta Trader 4 trading software, analytical methods.

     At the end, discussions were held on the topics and students' questions were answered.
