A seminar has been organized by the Azerbaijan Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (Al Lab) of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport at Baku Engineering University (BEU).

At the seminar organized for students of the Faculty of Engineering, logistics expert Tamraz Hamidov delivered a report on the topic of digitalization of transport.

The report discussed the main tasks in the preparation of a national strategy for the digitalization of Transport-Logistics Systems (TLS). Moreover, issues such as the analysis of gaps in the TLS and the country's transport modality, complex planning of strategic activities, the creation of a national digital platform, electronic logistics systems, and the preparation of a roadmap for the establishment of a national electronic logistics system with measures envisaged in the main stages of the project were brought to attention.

The expert also provided extensive information on electronic document types and their application in international transportation. Speaking about the electronic registration of carriers and the single window system, T. Hamidov also touched upon the importance of the new platform being developed in the field of logistics in the coming periods.

The questions of interest to the participants were also clarified at the seminar.
