Further discussions have been held on developing cooperation between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Tsinghua University of the People's Republic of China.

The discussions took place within the framework of BEU Vice-Rector for International Relations Atraba Gul's participation in the "University Partners Summit Hangzhou 2025" held in China.

During the meeting, an exchange of views was held on cooperation opportunities between the two higher education institutions in the fields of scientific research, academic exchange, and joint educational programs. At the same time, the work carried out since the universities' initial discussions on cooperation in July of this year was reviewed.

The parties reaffirmed their intentions to develop mutual cooperation and reached an agreement on planning future steps.

It should be noted that Tsinghua University, one of China's most prestigious higher education institutions, ranks in the top 20 in both the QS World University Rankings and Times Higher Education rankings. The university maintains academic and research cooperation with many prestigious higher education institutions worldwide.
