BEU Student Win Silver Medal at International Chemistry Olympiad

Baku Engineering University (BEU) students - Mahammad Javadzade, Ali Mehtizada, Ismail Ahmadov, and Nihad Gasimov - successfully competed at the IV International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) held in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.   

Mahammad Javadzade, a third-year student majoring in "Chemical Engineering" at BMU, was awarded a silver medal at the competition, which brought together more than 40 prestigious universities and over 300 students from 13 countries, including Russia, China, Iran, Japan, Romania, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. 

The International Chemistry Olympiad is one of the most important competitions where talented young people demonstrate their knowledge and skills in chemistry and contribute to the development of scientific potential. The successful performance of BMU students at the olympiad and their achievement of second place once again confirms the high level of academic preparation at the higher education institution and the support provided for students' professional development.

An interesting program was also presented within the framework of the event in the spirit of friendship and cultural cooperation. National Azerbaijani dances performed by Turkmen students were received with great interest by the participants.
