A seminar on the topic “Secrets of Cybersecurity: Red Teaming and SOC Experiences” has been held for students under the organization of the dual degree program (BEU-INHA DDP) between Baku Engineering University and INHA University of the Republic of Korea (South).
Director of BEU-INHA DDP Humay Jafarli emphasized that within the framework of the program, students are mainly educated in technical fields and in these specialties, along with theoretical knowledge, the formation of practical skills is of great importance. It was noted that such meetings with experts working in the field of cybersecurity are very useful for students both in terms of deepening their knowledge and getting to know the real work environment.
Later, Anar Eyvazzada, one of the founders of “HunTech Academy”, and Elvina Aliyeva, a security analyst at “Prosol” company, made speeches. The speeches provided detailed information about the concepts of cybersecurity and information security, their differences, as well as the essence of concepts such as “Red Teaming” and “Penetration Testing”. Experts spoke about the interrelationship of these areas and the role they play in protecting information systems in the modern era.
During the event, practical information was presented on the topics of “SOC and Security Solutions” and “Advanced Red Teaming: Real-World Offensive Techniques”.
At the end of the seminar, a competition was held with students. 6 students who correctly answered 15 questions on cybersecurity received the opportunity to join the scholarship training program of “HunTech Academy”.
