The Rector stated that the liberation of our territories from occupation as a result of the determination and courageous decisions of the Victorious Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, the unity of our people, the blood of our martyrs, and the sacrifice of our veterans was not merely a military victory, but also the restoration of national spirit, justice, and our historical rights. Emphasizing that Azerbaijan fully restored its state sovereignty through the anti-terror operations of 2023, which entered world military history as a rare operation, the Rector drew attention to the fact that our country's Victory is recognized on an international scale, and that as a result of President Ilham Aliyev's far-sighted policy, a superpower like the United States has become an important partner in maintaining peace and stability in the region, highlighting the historical significance of the agreement signed in Washington.
