Baku Engineering University (BEU) has approved student recruitment plan for bachelor's and master's degrees for the academic year 2020/2021. 

A total of 1,210 planned places were allocated for 29 specialties at the bachelor's degree at BEU, which provided education at all levels of higher education. 640 of them were envisaged for the Azerbaijani sector, while 15 for the Russian sector and 555 for the English sector.

There were several other innovations for the next academic year. Thus, the admission plan for the bachelor's degree included new specialties - Information Security, Radio Engineering and Telecommunication Engineering, Service Transportation(on the types of transport).

Moreover, bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology and Civil Engineering will be conducted jointly with Inha University of the Republic of Korea on the basis of a state order for dual degree programs.

According to the approved recruitment plan, a total of 160 places were allocated for 15 specialties and 19 specializations at the master's degree at BEU. 125 of them were envisaged for the Azerbaijani sector, while 35 for the English sector.

MBA program of BEU has 275 places for 6 specialties. Of these, 210 places were envisaged for the Azerbaijani sector, while 65 places for the English sector.

The competition in the specialties taught in English at the bachelor's degree is jointly held with Azerbaijani and Russian sectors. Aptitude test is not required for the Department of Architecture.
