Members of the Milli Majlis - Nigar Mammadova, Sabina Khasayeva, Nagif Hamzayev have got acquainted with the modern infrastructure, laboratories with extensive scientific and research capabilities, Technopark and dormitories of Baku Engineering University (BEU).
Visiting the Cybersecurity, Computer, Mechanics, Electronics, ICT, Chemistry and other laboratories of BEU, the MPs positively assessed the conditions created here for ensuring the combination of theoretical knowledge with practice and conducting research.
Having a sincere conversation with the students, the MPs highlighted the growing need for specialized personnel training in areas such as information technologies, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and stated that the material and technical base at BEU fully meets the requirements for training highly qualified specialists in these specialties. Moreover, they called on the students to make more effective use of the wide opportunities created by our state for young people and to constantly strengthen the knowledge they have learned. It was noted that all conditions have been created in our country for the comprehensive development of young people, and they should work more diligently to justify the trust and use their knowledge and skills for the strategic goals of our state.
Later, the members of the Milli Majlis, who were at the university Technopark, were informed about the students' startups, the "Zangezur" UAV they had developed, and other projects. The MPs welcomed with great interest the achievements made in the field of assembling important details of the UAV by BEU students, the successes of university teams in prestigious competitions such as "TEKNOFEST", listening to the ideas of young people on turning their ideas into business, and their plans for future projects.
