An educational training has been organized for new users on the activities of the Library and Information Center, as well as the rules for using electronic information resources, at Baku Engineering University (BEU).
The training aimed to create equal access to knowledge and information resources for students, increase their information literacy, and support their effective adaptation to the academic environment in accordance with the 4th direction of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (Quality Education). The training also served to support students in using the library more effectively on the eve of the start of semester exams.
Speaking at the event, Vusala Mammadova, an employee of the Library and Information Center, provided detailed information on the center's activities, internal usage rules, electronic catalog system, remote access, connection to international scientific databases, as well as reading rooms and reservation service available to students. She also gave a practical presentation on more flexible access to resources during the exam session, online ordering, and rules for using the electronic archive system.
The training continued interactively, and students' questions were answered.
