A delegation of eight faculty members from INHA University of the Republic of Korea (South) is visiting Baku Engineering University (BEU).
The visit aims to conduct the next monitoring of the educational process within the framework of the BEU-INHA Dual Degree Program (DDP) and discuss cooperation directions.
Meeting with the INHA delegation, BEU Rector Yagub Piriyev noted that the cooperation between the two universities is already recognized as an internationally successful model in the field of education. He stated that the DDP provides students with broad opportunities to acquire world-class knowledge and skills, enhancing their future career prospects. The Rector emphasized that the extension of the program until 2030 by Presidential Decree of President Ilham Aliyev is an indicator of the high value placed on this partnership. He also referred to the admission of high-scoring applicants to the specialties taught within the DDP framework as another example of the program's prestige. Yagub Piriyev also spoke about the achievements of DDP graduates, noting that some of them are currently pursuing master's degrees at INHA University, and wished success to the delegation conducting the monitoring.
In turn, Professor Tae-Joon Jeon, Executive Director of INHA's Office of Global Strategy and Initiatives, expressed satisfaction with the successful results of cooperation with BEU. He emphasized the importance of further developing academic and scientific relations between the two universities and highly appreciated the implementation of the program in accordance with international standards. The Korean professor stated his confidence that the interviews to be conducted with students and faculty will be marked by positive feedback, and that the results of the monitoring will contribute to further improving the quality of education.
Following the meeting, an exchange of views was held regarding new directions of cooperation and the monitoring that will continue until October 24.
