A meeting has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU) with Elchin Babayev, Executive Director of Baku Textile Factory (BTF) LLC, and Khayala Mammadova, Human Resources Manager.

The meeting was attended by Arif Najimov, Head of International Relations and Project Management Department, Gulchohra Ibrahimova, Director of the Department on work with enterprises and career, Hazi Gasimov, Head of Internship Department, Associate Professor Huseyn Mirzayev, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.

The guests were informed about the activities of BEU, the works carried out with students and graduates, the measures taken in connection with the internship of students. The importance of industry in the process of university-industry relations and training, as well as the provision of quality education with the involvement of companies in the process of improving curricula were discussed. It was noted at the meeting that the University was interested in establishing new cooperation and discussed ways to use common opportunities between the two institutions.

As a result of the meeting, initial agreement was reached for preparing proposals for signing a cooperation agreement between BEU and BTF LLC, conducting internships in the factory, conducting research, sending regular job vacancies for graduates, as well as organizing various joint competitions and events to increase students' interest in education.

At the end, the guests got acquainted with the campus of BEU, the laboratory of the Department of Architecture and Design, the handicrafts and exhibition of students of Design Department, as well as the Technopark and its laboratories.
