Narmin Gahramanli, a specialist in working with foreign students at the International Relations and Project Management Department at Baku Engineering University (BEU), and foreign students studying at the University (citizens of Turkey, Georgia, Angola and Namibia) have taken part in the tree planting campaign.
The tree planting campaign was organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Ministry of Education and IDEA Public Union in Khojasan settlement under the motto "From Victory to Green Thought" within the "Green Marathon" project.
More than 100 foreign students from 17 universities from 48 countries participated in the autumn tree planting marathon to improve the environmental situation, increase greenery, as well as increase the networking and social activity of foreign students, and promote the education of foreigners in Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that the planting campaign was attended by heads of relevant agencies and heads of relevant departments, foreign students studying in our country, representatives of higher education institutions, graduates of the "State Program 2007-2015" and "Intergovernmental Scholarship Programs (ISP)". Representatives of the State Migration Service and the Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also joined the marathon.
