Baku Engineering University (BEU) has hosted a career event aimed at students' professional development and strengthening their ties with industry with the participation of representatives of ATS Food LLC.
Students of BEU's Electrical and Electronics, Power Engineering, Mechanics, and Process Automation Engineering Departments participated in the event. The main goal of the event was for young people to establish direct contact with industry specialists, receive information about the labor market requirements, real production processes, and evaluate internships and job opportunities.
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of BEU Asif Guliyev noted the development directions of engineering specialties, the importance of industrial cooperation, and the work done to increase students' practical knowledge.
Gulchohra Ibrahimova, Head of the Department of work with enterprises and career, also brought to attention the projects implemented to support students' industrial experience and employment in her speech.
Later, Namig Mustafayev, Head of the Training, Development and Recruitment Department of ATS Food LLC, provided information about the company's activities, internships and job opportunities. Speaking about the "Training of Trainees" project implemented by ATS Food, N. Mustafayev emphasized that the goal is to identify young talents, develop their knowledge and skills, and ensure their integration into the labor market. Within the framework of the project, 3rd-year students will undergo internships at enterprises and get acquainted with modern production processes and equipment. Students who successfully complete the internship will have the opportunity to be employed by the company.
At the end of the event, representatives of the LLC conducted individual interviews with students who wished to participate in internships and job opportunities. During the interviews, students asked questions about the company's activities, selection criteria, and the process of accepting students into the project.
