Baku Engineering University (BEU) has held an educational event on international English exams such as IELTS, SAT, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo, etc., as well as opportunities for studying abroad.

At the event, jointly organized by the Department of Foreign Languages ​​and the “English Zone” club operating under the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC), the head of the department, associate professor Narmina Aliyeva spoke about the opportunities created for students by certificates obtained from international English exams.

In her speech, the senior lecturer of the department, Sevda Huseynova noted the tripartite cooperation agreement signed among BEU, the Education Development Foundation (EDF) and the Education Quality Assurance Agency regarding the promotion of the IELTS exam, calling the fact that the EDF will cover the exam fees of students who score high scores and achieve successful results in the IELTS exam an important support for students. 

Later, Sevda Rahimova, a trainer for international exams, and Natavan Amikishiyeva, a specialist in education abroad, delivered speeches and provided necessary information about IELTS, SAT, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo international exams, maximum scores, and the advantages of these exams. At the same time, educational opportunities in the USA, Canada, Europe, Türkiye, etc. countries, admission rules, as well as successful experiences were discussed, and practical advice was given to students.

At the end, the participants' questions were answered and gifts were presented by STUC to the students who were active in the event, as well as to the speakers.
