As noted, within the framework of the dual degree program (DDP) implemented between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Inha University, the entrance exam for the master's degrees of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been held for fourth-year students currently studying in the Republic of Korea. This has gone down in history as the first online entrance exam for the master's degree for Azerbaijani students studying abroad.
The exams, initiated by BEU rector Yagub Piriyev, were jointly organized by the State Examination Center (SEC) and BEU-INHA DDP. 44 people participated in the exam. The exam started at 11 AM Baku time and lasted for 3 hours and 30 minutes. Students took the exam in the exam hall provided by Inha University and online through the program developed by the Ministry of Education.
Moreover, a trial exam was organized for the candidates on April 9 in order to prepare for the main exam. The results of the students participating in the exam will be known after checking the essay tasks on foreign language subjects.
It should be noted that a total of 385 students are currently studying within the BEU-INHA international dual degree program based on the 3+1 model. They have the right to study for 3 years at BEU and 1 year at Inha University. Within the framework of the program, 61 students are currently continuing their education at Inha University, and they are expected to return to Azerbaijan as the first graduates of BEU-INHA DDP in the summer months.
