The Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev has gotten acquainted with the newly opened educational building of the Baku Engineering University (BEU), the laboratories located here, and the Technopark of the university.

Rector of BEU Yagub Piriyev brought to attention the necessary information about the material and technical base of the educational institution, scientific research activity. The rector informed the minister about the existing ecosystem for effective organization of researches, assimilation and application of technological innovations, strengthening the activities of the university Technopark, as well as the planned goals.

Later, the minister inspected the extensive material and technical base, scientific-research and teaching laboratories that meet modern requirements, as well as the exhibition of students' handiwork.  Getting acquainted with the achievements of the university students in various competitions, the minister was presented with information about the innovations to be implemented and the projects planned for implementation in the future.

Visiting the Technopark of BEU, Emin Amrullayev expressed his satisfaction with the activities of the laboratories, which create wide research opportunities for students. Talking to the rector and teaching staff of the higher education institution, the minister noted the training of engineering personnel at all levels of higher education, the tasks facing the advanced higher education institution that conducts fundamental and applied scientific research. In accordance with the development priorities of higher education, the issues of further improving the quality of teaching and learning at the university, opening new specialties, and strengthening the infrastructure were considered.

Emphasizing his belief that BEU would develop further, the minister wished success to the team.
