A seminar on the topic “Bridging cultures: The role and importance of literature in English language teaching” has been held at the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of Baku Engineering University (BEU).

Opening the seminar with an introductory speech, the head of the department Narmina Aliyeva shared her thoughts on the topic.

Later, the teachers of the department, PhDs in Philology - Nigar Orujova and Tamara Atakishiyeva made a presentation. The presentation extensively discussed the role and directions of literature in English language teaching, its main methods and strategies, and also brought to attention its benefits and advantages.

The questions of the participants were also answered in the seminar, which continued with discussions.
