BEU represented at prestigious summit held in China

Baku Engineering University (BEU) Vice-Rector for International Relations Atraba Gul is participating in the “University Partners Summit Hangzhou 2025” (October 19-22) held in the People’s Republic of China.

About 5,000 guests and more than 100 world-renowned scientists are participating in the summit, organized by Beihang University of China. The main goal of the event is to strengthen cooperation between partner universities, expand educational exchanges and create equal opportunities for each other.

On the first day of the summit, a sub-conference called “23rd International Experts Exchange” was held in Shanghai. University rectors, persons responsible for international relations, influential researchers, and leading experts spoke at the event and held discussions on topical issues in the field of education.

The BEU Vice-Rector attended a number of meetings and round tables within the framework of the summit. The meetings exchanged views on the internationalization of higher education institutions, mechanisms for teacher-student exchange, the creation of dual diploma programs, as well as the implementation of joint research and innovation projects. In addition, the issues of expanding formats of inter-university cooperation and identifying new initiatives that can be implemented in the future were touched upon.

The summit continues its work in Hangzhou.
