Vice-Rector for International Relations, Associate Professor Manafaddin Namazov and employee of International Relations and Project Management Department of Baku Engineering University (BEU) Narmin Alakbarova have participated in the online meeting among “Universiti Teknologi MARA” (UiTM) (Malaysia) and higher education institutions of Azerbaijan. 

The meeting, organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, aimed to establish cooperation between universities.

The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Malaysia Irfan Davudov, Head of the Department of Science, Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Ministry of Education Nijat Mammadli, Head of the Department of International Cooperation Tural Ahmadov and other employees, heads and representatives of Azerbaijani universities, as well as Vice-Chancellor of UiTM, Professor Ts. Dr. Hajah Roziah Mohd Janor and heads and representatives of relevant structures of the University.

Representatives of the Ministry of Education stressed the importance of cooperation between higher education institutions for our country, and added that they would support and assist in establishing relations.

The meeting focused on the possibility of establishing dual degree programs, the allocation of special scholarships for Azerbaijani citizens at UiTM, student and teacher exchange programs, as well as the implementation of joint research projects.
