Cooperation Directions Discussed Between BEU and Pakistani University

A delegation from Pakistan's National University of Science and Technology (NUST) visited Baku Engineering University (BEU).

BEU Rector Yagub Piriyev, who met with the guests, presented the university's scientific and technological capabilities. Emphasizing the friendship and fraternal relations existing between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, the rector highlighted the importance of further strengthening ties and mutual cooperation in the fields of science and education. He also stressed such areas as the development of academic relations between the two universities, implementation of joint research projects, and student and faculty exchange, expressing confidence that a solid legal framework for extensive cooperation would be established in the near future. 

NUST Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Professor Osman Hasan and Research Director Professor Muhammad Junaid Khan, in turn, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and highly appreciated the university's work in the direction of international cooperation, including its material and technical base and research capabilities. The speeches noted that joint projects with BEU would make a significant contribution to deepening scientific relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, cooperation opportunities between the two universities were extensively discussed. The parties exchanged views on such issues as the implementation of exchange programs, research projects, organization of conferences, and preparation of co-authored scientific articles. It was stated that joint activities would contribute to expanding the international cooperation network of both higher education institutions, increasing scientific potential, and integrating students into the global educational environment.

Afterwards, the NUST delegation became acquainted with BEU's laboratories.
