Within the framework of cooperation between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT), doctoral students from the People's Republic of China, as well as faculty members visiting our country, have visited a number of higher education institutions and industrial organizations.

During the visit, the guests met with Elchin Babayev, Rector of Baku State University (BSU). The meeting discussed prospects for the development of scientific and academic cooperation. The BUCT delegation also familiarized themselves with BSU's laboratories and the scientific research activities carried out at the university.

Subsequently, the Chinese guests visited Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). Vice-Rector for International Relations Fariz Mammadov provided detailed information about the university's activities, educational and research infrastructure. The doctoral students presented their research and exchanged ideas with their colleagues.

Within the framework of the visit program, the guests also visited SOCAR and the Absheron Ceramics Factory, becoming closely acquainted with the production processes of the enterprises.

It should be noted that during the visit, an international scientific-practical seminar on "The Impact of Engineering Applications on Sustainable Development Goals" was held jointly with BUCT at BEU. The seminar was organized based on the cooperation agreement signed between the two universities in April of this year.

The visit of the BUCT delegation to our country has concluded.
