A group of students studying in the “Radio Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering” specialty of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have visited Azercell Telecom LLC.

Accompanied by Fakhranda Mammadova, senior lecturer of the Department of Automation, Telecommunications and Energy of BEU, the students visited the organization, which is the leader of the mobile communications market in Azerbaijan, and got acquainted with its structure.

First, leading specialists of the Human Resources Department of Azercell Telecom, Aygun Nuhiyeva and Vusala Hasanova, provided the students with extensive information about the organization’s strategy, main principles, and achievements.

Later, Rovshan Mammadov, Head of the Quality Control and Reporting Department of the Network Technologies Department, made a comprehensive presentation to the students on the organization of mobile communications, network elements, their working principle, various technologies, development trends and advantages, the application of the latest technological innovations, and the mechanism for meeting the growing demands of customers. The speech covered in detail the base and transmitter stations, voice and data services, and network service quality control systems of Azercell Telecom.

Following the presentations, the students were also introduced to the individual divisions of the technical department and their real working conditions. They also listened to the experience and useful recommendations of specialists and were interested in future job opportunities at the enterprise.
