BEU students trained on cyber security

At Baku Engineering University (BEU), a training on "Introduction to Cyber ​​Security" has been organized for students under the organization of the "Cyber ​​Security Club" under the Student Trade Union Committee.

At the event, istating that the concepts of cyber threats and cyber security were becoming increasingly important in the era of information technologies, the importance of educating each individual in this regard, especially increasing the knowledge of students who aim to grow as professionals in technological specialties, was emphasized.

Later, the trainer, cyber specialist Mushfig Safarov made a presentation about the causes of cyber security and methods of combating cyber attacks. He said that today there were cases of cyber-attacks on computer systems and other information technology networks around the world, and due to serious damage to the cyber interests of societies, attention to information security and the amount of financial resources allocated in this direction were increasing even more. Saying that there was a need for the formation of professional personnel, especially in this field, the trainer noted the current opportunities for the career of young people.

During the training, the specialist explained the ways to protect against the risks of cyberattacks and pointed out the important points to pay attention to in order not to become a victim of cybercrime.
