Second-year students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have organized campaign on the occasion of November 9 - National Flag Day. As part of the campaign, students met with the rector of the University, Professor Havar Mammadov.

    Professor H. Mammadov thanked the students for such an action. He recalled that a solemn event was organized at the university on the occasion of National Flag Day. Stressing like President Ilham Aliyev that our flag is our source of pride, H.Mammadov highlighted that the Azerbaijani flag was waved in diplomatic agencies and embassies functioning in about 70 countries across the world. Speaking of the significance of the day, Rector gave his advice to the youth. Speaking about the importance of this day, the rector gave his recommendations to the youth.

     In the end, the BEU rector was symbolically presented the State Flag of Azerbaijan.

    It should be noted that as part of the campaign, students prepared a booklet on Flag Day. The booklet contained facts about the creation, history and establishment of the Flag Day, one of the main attributes of our independence.
