BEU represented at international conference

Baku Engineering University(BEU) has been represented at the International Conference on "Macroeconomics and Finance Learning and Expectation Forms" held at the headquarters of the Bank of Lithuania (Lietuvos Bankas) in Vilnius. Fuzuli Aliyev, Head of Finance Department at BEU, attended the conference

At the conference, Klaus Adam, professor of economics at Oxford University in England, spoke about rational expectation models, their application in monetary policy and asset valuation.  He also delivered a presentation on a neoclassical real business cycle model.

During the event, scientific works of the participants were presented. F.Aliyev, BEU employee, gave presentation on the topic "Impact of oil price shocks on the stock market: Evidence from Commonwealth of Independent States(CIS) Oil exporting counties”. The event participants met his speech with interest.

It should be noted that the conference was attended by the scholars from the central banks and universities of many European countries.
