An event called "First steps in programming" has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU) with the presentation of Namig Rasullu, a programming specialist of the Step IT Academy.
At the event organized by the "Techno club" operating under the BEU Student Trade Union Committee (STUC), Elmir Hasanli, the representative of the Information and Computer Technologies Faculty for the STUC, gave extensive information to the participants about the "Cybersecurity" and "Techno" clubs. He noted that the newly created clubs in the faculty play an important role in the efficient organization of students' leisure-time activities and acquisition of new technological skills.
Mehdi Tarverdiyev, project manager of "Techno club", brought to the attention of the students the information about the planned business discussions, mentoring programs, trainings to be held together with experts in the field of technology. He emphasized the impact of programs and trainings on self-development and urged students to take advantage of such opportunities.
Later, the trainer Namig Rasullu gave a speech on the topic of creating software, algorithms built through programming language. Understanding the first steps in programming, the trainer touched on the importance of this field.
At the event, the issues of interest to the students were clarified.
