Prof. Saleh Mammadov, lecturer of Finance Department at Baku Engineering University, doctor of economic sciences, has participated in Maltepe Economic Forum in Turkey. Well-known scholars, politicians and businessmen from many countries around the world took part in the forum entitled "New References in Economics".

     S.Mammadov made a speech at the event named “Trends in the World and Turkey Economy”. The participants met his report with interest.

     At the forum, the speakers noted the economic problems in the world and put forward proposals for overcoming the economic crisis.

    In the report, the discussions were made around turning Istanbul into international financial centre, its full electronicization as “Smart City” through artificial intelligence, prevention of the situation in recent years in political and economic liberalization and other areas.
