An award ceremony was held at Baku Engineering University (BEU) for the students selected within the framework of the "Brand Student" project, implemented through the joint cooperation of the AzEdu.az education portal and higher education institutions.

Speakers at the event—Chairperson of the BEU Trade Union Committee Laman Sharifova, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Asif Guliyev, and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Nasimi Kamalov—emphasized the importance of the project. It was noted that this project, which has become a tradition, serves to stimulate students' academic and social activity and to present their positive educational examples to society. Furthermore, such selections, based on students' knowledge, skills, and personal qualities, encourage young people to be responsible and approach their educational and developmental activities with greater enthusiasm.

Laman Novruzova, Director of the AzEdu.az education portal, provided information about the project, which has been carried out for three years, and highlighted the growing interest in it. It was stated that the project, currently involving 29 higher education institutions, is planned to encompass all universities. It was also noted that the selection criteria for students primarily focused on academic performance, public activity, participation in social projects, exemplary conduct, and contributions to intra-university initiatives.

Subsequently, the selected students delivered speeches, expressing their gratitude for the trust placed in them. The speakers emphasized that the opportunities created at the university play a crucial role in their personal and academic development, and such initiatives further motivate students.
