Articles Published in Korean Press on BEU-INHA Cooperation

Articles have been published in South Korea's "Incheon newspaper" about the dual degree program (BEU-INHA DDP) implemented between Baku Engineering University and INHA University. In the articles titled "INHA University and Baku Engineering University Cooperation: A New Phase in Global Talent Development" and "INHA University – BEU Cooperation: Sincere Communication and Collaboration for 'Strengthening K-Education'… in Global Talent Preparation," the cooperation between the two universities has been assessed as a new phase in global talent development. It is emphasized that the program is implemented based on a cooperation agreement signed in 2020, and that according to the "3+1 model," students complete three years of their education at BEU and one year at INHA University, receiving diplomas from both higher education institutions.

It is reported that the universities demonstrate successful joint activity in the development and management of curricula in relevant specializations.

The articles mention the visit to Baku last month by an eight-member faculty delegation from INHA University, aimed at conducting the next monitoring of the educational process within the DDP framework and discussing cooperation directions. It is emphasized that during the meetings, alignment of curricula, expansion of academic exchange opportunities, and innovations for the program's second phase were discussed, and that continuous communication, regular monitoring, and joint management between the parties create conditions for improving the program's quality. It is separately noted that the second phase of the DDP has been implemented since the current year, and reference is made to the Decree signed by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev regarding the extension of the project's duration to continue until 2030. It is stated that in the new phase, the specializations "Data Analytics/Data Science" and "Computer Engineering/Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineering" have been added to the curriculum.

The article also notes as successful outcomes of the program that to date, a total of 143 students across two graduating classes have obtained diplomas from both INHA and BEU.
