Asif Guliyev, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of Baku Engineering University (BEU), Bakhtiyar Namazov, Head of the Department of Logistics and Transport, and Leyla Hasratova, Associate Professor of the Department, have visited "Sara Logistics" LLC, which operates under Azera Holding.

First, BEU employees were interested in the progress of the internship of students in the company in the specialty "Logistics and Transport Technologies", and then met with the company's management. The meeting provided detailed information about the specialties taught at the Faculty of Engineering, and discussed the practical implementation of the agreed cooperation between the managements of BEU and Sara Logistics, including the possibilities of expanding it.

Providing general information about the LLC, Ulvi Orujov, Director of the enterprise, noted that Sara Logistics, which has been operating as a freight operator of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC since 2022, provides reliable transportation, storage, and cargo transportation services. Moreover, necessary information was presented about "Azera Holding", which operates widely in the fields of agriculture, food and non-food industry, logistics, medicine and other services.

During the meeting, the organization of master classes for BEU students studying at the bachelor's and master's levels, participation in internship programs, assistance in the technical equipment of the Logistics and Transport Department, as well as the prospects of providing students with permanent and part-time jobs in the future were considered and a preliminary agreement was reached in these areas.
