Sevda Huseynova, senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of Baku Engineering University (BEU), has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Philology by the decision of the Board of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The young scientist's dissertation on the topic "The Image of the Creative Personality in Modern English and Azerbaijani Literature" analyzes the concept of the creative personality in both Azerbaijani and world literature from modern scientific and philosophical perspectives, makes a significant contribution to comparative literary criticism, and the study of the issues of the embodiment of the creative personality in literature.

The scientific research, published in local and foreign prestigious scientific journals recommended by the HAC, was also published in the materials of international scientific conferences held in Azerbaijan, Türkiye, the USA, France, and Ukraine.
