Chairwoman of Women's Council of Baku Engineering University (BEU), Head of Foreign Languages Department Atraba Gul has participated in the conference on "Fighting violence against women and children".

Speaking at the event organized by “Azerbaijan Women” Republican Society, Atraba Gul stated violence to be a social problem in today’s modern world. She brought the consequences of violence to the attention of the event participants.  

Morever, she stressed the importance of an active awareness-raising campaign to eliminate the causes of violence, and discussions were held around the topic.
