Head of Social Sciences Department at Baku Engineering University(BEU), Ph.D. in History, assoc.prof. Bilal Dadayev has participated in “The 2nd International Congress on the History of Medicine in Iran and Islam” held in Tehran, Iran.  

     Speaking at the congress organized by Tehran University of Medical Sciences, B.Dadayev made a report on "Azerbaijani doctors in the Ottoman Empire (XV-XVI centuries)”. He provided detailed information about 10 Azerbaijani doctors in his research based on archives and medieval sources.

     It should be noted that representatives of many foreign countries also attended the international event. The reports of the Congress will be published.
