Admission to the dual degree program between BEU and Inha University starts

Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Inha University, a prestigious higher education institution in South Korea, accept applications for the international dual degree program for the 2021/2022 academic year, which was launched last academic year.

Admission to the international dual degree program is carried out by the State Examination Center (SEC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the basis of the results of entrance examinations (bachelor’s degree) and the choice of Inha University.

Specialties such as 

-          Information technologies,

-         Civil engineering,

-         Electronics Engineering,

-         Electrical engineering

include to the undergraduate program in English for 4 years. It is planned to admit 100 people, including 25 people in each specialty.

Applicants who are citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan and have scored 400 or more points in the exam organized by SEC can participate in the program. Applicants who successfully pass the competition and are admitted to the program organized by BEU and Inha University will be able to study in one of the 4 specialties within the dual degree program on the basis of the state order.

-         Tuition fee,

-         registration fee,

-         access to teaching materials and electronic information resources,

-         expenses for 1 year of education and 3 weeks of summer school in South Korea

of students are met within the framework of the "State Program on Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023".

The program is based on the 3 + 1 model. Thus, according to the dual degree program, students will study for 3 academic years at BEU, and 1 academic year (last year) at Inha University. Moreover, undergraduate students will have the opportunity to pursue master's and doctoral studies on scholarships in South Korea. 

Students will be taught Korean language classes during their 3-year study period at BEU to develop relevant language skills, and they will take exams in the 2nd and 3rd academic years to obtain a TOPIK certificate, respectively. At the end of the eduation, students will be awarded bachelor's degrees by both BEU and Inha University.

The knowledge and skills acquired by the graduates of the program will cover the fields of engineering, research, international education, analysis and development in the mentioned specialties.
