The undergraduate student admission plan of Baku Engineering University (BEU) for the 2025/2026 academic year has been approved.
This year, the admission plan also includes significant changes and innovations. The changes are reflected in the dynamics of student admission, the increase in the number of specialties, and the implementation of the new dual diploma program (https://beu.edu.az/az/page/bakalavr-tehsili-182/) .
Thus, the number of specialties at the bachelor's level of BEU has been increased from 36 to 39. A total of 2,585 planned places have been allocated for the specialties to be taught, which is an additional 300 places compared to last year. Of the allocated places, 1,745 are for the Azerbaijani section (full-time), 200 places for the part-time form of education, and 640 places for the English section (full-time).
The 3 new specialties added to the admission plan at the bachelor's level include "Data Analytics", "Decorative and Applied Arts", and "Organization of Tourism Business". As for the places allocated for the new specialties, 55 places are allocated for the "Data Analytics" specialty in the full-time form of education in the English section, 30 places are allocated for the "Decorative and Applied Arts" specialty in the full-time form of education in the Azerbaijani section, and 60 places are allocated for the "Organization of Tourism Business" specialty.
Another important innovation is that this year, personnel training for the specialty "Chemical Engineering" will be carried out within the framework of a joint dual diploma program with the Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) of the People's Republic of China. Students with high academic performance will continue their education at BUCT in the III and IV academic years.
No aptitude test is provided for the specialties "Architecture" and "Design", as well as the newly opened "Decorative and Applied Arts".
The admission plan also reflects the correspondence form of education at the bachelor's level. In total, 9 specialties (International Trade and Logistics, Business Management, State and Municipal Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Winemaking, Transport Service (Motor Transport)) will also be taught in the part-time education.
