7 new undergraduate majors have been added to the admission plan of Baku Engineering University (BEU) for the 2024/2025 academic year. These are "Biotechnology", "Physics", "Chemistry", "Mathematics", "Transport engineering", "Food engineering" and "Winemaking".
30 places have been allocated for each of the "Physics", "Chemistry", and "Mathematics" specialties provided in the form of full-time education of the English section.
40 places are planned for the "Biotechnology" specialty, 30 places for each of the "Transportation engineering" and "Food engineering" specialties, which will be taught in the form of full-time education of the Azerbaijan section.
30 and 20 places have been allocated for the "Winemaking" specialty, which will be taught in the form of full-time and part-time education of the Azerbaijan section, respectively.
Significant changes have been made in this year's admission plan of BEU compared to previous years. The number of students and majors has been increased at both levels of education (undergraduate and graduate). Moreover, for the first time, a form of correspondence education will be organized at the undergraduate level in the university.
A total of 2,285 planned places in 36 majors at the bachelor's level of the higher education institution were allocated, of which 1,540 places are intended for the Azerbaijani section (full-time), 220 places are for part-time education, and 525 places are for the English section (full-time) (https://beu.edu.az/az/page/bakalavr-tehsili-182/).
