Students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) has become the winners of the “Parla” scholarship and development program, implemented within the framework of joint cooperation between the Education Development Foundation under the Ministry of Science and Education and “NEQSOL Holding”.
A total of 791 people applied for the program, which aims to serve the personal and professional development of girls, and 128 candidates who met the selection criteria qualified for the interview stage. 50 female students who successfully passed all stages became winners of the program, and 5 of them are BEU students.
Among the BEU students who won the program, Zarifa Alili and Laman Huseynova, are 3rd year students of the “Computer Engineering” specialty, and Gunay Aliyeva is 2nd year students of the “Information Technologies” specialty. Aysel Mammadova (Information Technologies, 2nd year) and Lala Yagubova (Electrical and Electronics Engineering, 2nd year) are studying under the international dual degree program implemented between BEU and the Republic of Korea.
