The winter exam session of the autumn semester of the current academic year at the undergraduate and graduate levels at Baku Engineering University (BEU) has ended.

The in-person exam session for both levels of education at the university lasted from 29.12.2023 to 01.02.2024, and a total of 1437 exams were held during this period.

In addition to the organization of the session in accordance with the relevant statutes and guidelines, the creation of comprehensive conditions in order to ensure objectivity in the assessment of students' knowledge, a number of innovations aimed at the interests of students were also implemented in BMU for the first time. These innovations and all the necessary steps taken, including the presentation of questions along with exam topics to students in advance, as one of these approaches, had a positive effect on the successful completion of the session. Positive dynamics were recorded in all faculties of the university, and a decrease in the number of appeals to the Appeals Commission was also observed compared to previous years.

During the session, the Appeals Commission received a total of 290 appeals from 4 faculties of the university (Architecture and construction, Engineering, Pedagogy, Economics and management). According to the results of operative and objective investigations carried out by the commission, the vast majority of those appeals (247 appeals) were resolved in favor of the students. 43 appeals were kept unchanged due to their unfoundedness.
