Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Bayram Huseynzada has met with members of the Student Youth Organization of Baku  Engineering University.

  The meeting focused on the activities of student organizations, the role of youth in moral education and the effective arrangement of leisure of students. Noting the youth policy of President Ilham Aliyev, the care of our state for young people, the Vice-Rector gave detailed information about activities of student organizations, conditions created by the University administration for the students and their successes.

  He pointed out that 4 student organizations, such as Student Trade Union Committee, Student Youth Organization, NAP Youth Organization, Student Scientific Society operated within the University. Student organizations carry out a number of projects within the framework of the cooperation with various public and private organizations and SSS members successfully represent our university in international student conferences.

  Later, the opinions of the students were heard, their suggestions were discussed. At the end, B.Huseynzada gave the recommendations to the students on their future activities.

   Former chairman of TGT, chairman of Absheron NAP Youth Organization Elnur Mirzayev thanked those who trusted him and spoke about future plans. E.Mirzayev said that he would continue to actively participate in the further development of our statehood, as well as in the social life of the University. He also presented Laman Sharifova, who would temporarily fulfill the duties of SSS chairman, to the participants.  

   BEU Student Youth Organization (SYO), established on the basis of a joint project of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Education, has been operating since February 2016.
