Stefano Antonetti, Vice-President of Business Development of the famous Italian aerospace company "D-Orbit", has met with the students of Baku Engineering University (BEU). The meeting organized by the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Azerkosmos) was held within the framework of the ongoing World Space Week (October 4-10) in our country.
First, Asad Hasanov, the leading engineer for satellite operations of "Azerkosmos", informed the participants about the essence of the meeting with the students. The moderator also said that the World Space Week was realized by "Azerkosmos" and other events of various styles will be held this year.
Later, Stefano Antonetti, vice president of "D-Orbit" company, answered the moderator's questions. Speaking about the company he represents, the guest noted that "D-Orbit", which is considered a leader in the space logistics and transport market, provides support to service providers of the space industry in various fields. At the same time, the company's activities include satellite launch, interorbital transportation, construction of space logistics infrastructure, which allows to facilitate organization of disposal in orbit, etc.
In an interactive meeting, the vice-president clarified the issues of interest to the students, shared his views on the development of the space industry, new solutions, modern challenges, goals, as well as research and effective practices aimed at the development of the space industry.
