Abdurahman Khamidullayev is a 3rd year student of the Tashkent International University of Financial Management and Technologies (TIFT), Republic of Uzbekistan, majoring in “Information Technologies”. He is currently studying at Baku Engineering University (BEU) as part of an exchange program.

Noting that the exchange program plays an invaluable role in his academic and personal development, the Uzbek student says that the strong academic environment at BEU, internship programs, and various projects allow him to receive the education he desired. He emphasizes, "BEU has created all the conditions for self-development in modern specialties. Students not only gain theoretical knowledge, but also participate in various programs and projects."

Abdurahman Khamidullayev also speaks with satisfaction about the attention shown to foreign students at BEU. He notes, “As foreign students, we are very comfortable here. We truly feel like we are in a fraternal country, in our native home. There are many similarities between the culture and people of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. Our traditions unite the Turkic peoples. Your people are very kind, cheerful and hospitable.”

The foreign student at BEU describes his daily life at the university as follows. He adds, “My life here is very interesting. In the morning I go to classes. I consolidate the knowledge I have gained during the study process. Then I return to the dormitory and have lunch. At the end of the day, I play table tennis with my friends, sit and chat and talk about our countries. In my free time, I try to visit historical sites and beautiful places in Azerbaijan.”

An Uzbek student who recommends studying at BEU to every foreign citizen mentiones that studying here is a great experience and opportunity to start a new life: “The teachers explain the lessons very clearly, and the students are friendly and help each other learn new topics. Overall, I highly value the Azerbaijani education system.”

Abdurahman has goals for the future, such as obtaining a master's degree. He wants to continue his education at BEU master's programs. He also plans to start internships in companies in Baku. His biggest dream is to work at the Meta company.
