The student team of Baku Engineering University (BEU) has won the competition in the category of "International Pilotless Aircraft" held within TEKNOFEST-2024.

The team (mentor-Rustam Kalantarov, students-Nadir Dashdiyev, Nurtaj Mirili, Rashad Aliyev, Nihad Maharramov, Mahammad Yusubov) prepared the UAV in the first stage, scoring 80.5 points (100) and won the first place in Azerbaijan.

BEU team is currently competing in the second stage of the competition, and depending on the result, it is planned to participate in the "TEKNOFEST-2024" Aerospace and Technology Festival to be held in Adana, Turkey.

The project was presented in various competitions during the preliminary preparation period, and received positive feedback from the experts of Azerbaijan-Turkey Science and Innovation Ecosystem.
