Two textbooks of BEU scientist published

Two textbooks entitled "Fundamentals of Power Systems Engineering" and "Electricity Transmission and Distribution Systems" of Najaf Orujov, associate professor of the Department of Automation and Power Systems Engineering have been published. 

The book entitled "Fundamentals of Power Systems Engineering" covered the basic concepts of power systems engineering, power plants, power grids and the loss of power and voltage in them, the design elements of power networks, etc. The test questions at the end of each section will help you better master the theoretical material.

Detailed information about electrical networks and systems, elements of electrical networks (power lines, replacement schemes and parameters of power transformers), electrical accounting of electrical networks, operating modes of electrical systems, etc. was given in the textbook entitled "Electricity Transmission and Distribution Systems.

The textbooks are intended for the specialties "Power Engineering" and "Electrical and Electronics Engineering" of higher education institutions. Moreover, they can be used by engeering staff working in the field of energetics. 

The scientific editor of the textbooks is BEU Rector, Professor Havar Mammadov, and the reviewers are BEU Associate Professor R.Huseynov and Professor of Azerbaijan Technical University G.Hasanov. The books were published by the order of BEU No. 2308 dated January 23, 2020.
