Training on "Applied Econometrics" is being conducted for Baku Engineering University (BEU) staff. The objective of the training, presented by Ilkin Gasimov, an employee of the World Economy Department of BEU, is to master the modern econometric models used for writing research papers in accordance with the requirements of journals impact factor.

   Topics of the training include data types, general familiarity with eviews, linear regression models, problems and solutions in regression models, application of a single root test, and so on.

    On the first day of the training, I. Gasimov gave information to the audience about what economics was, where and how to use it, and provided examples on its practical use. The questions of participants were answered.

    It should be noted that the training will be held every Wednesday from 4:20 PM to 5:55 PM  during the semester.
