A training session on "RPA Technology" for students was held at Baku Engineering University (BEU) within the framework of the "Double Hour" project of Azerbaijan International Bank (AIB).
At the training organized jointly with BEU's Enterprise Relations and Career Center, Farid Gasimov, functional area manager for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) at AIB, delivered a presentation. He provided detailed information about the essence of RPA technology and the new standards it creates in modern business processes. It was noted that this technology was first implemented in the banking sector and is now widely used in various fields such as finance, telecommunications, oil, and sales.
The presentation covered RPA functions, the types of work it performs, as well as various robot models. Additionally, RPA solutions implemented at AIB, the capabilities of automation platforms used, and the contributions of robots to the bank's business processes were highlighted.
During the training, which also presented essential skills and areas considered important for those wishing to build a career in the RPA field, Gunay Mammadova, junior engineer for RPA at AIB, conducted an interactive question-and-answer session to assess students' knowledge.
At the end, the competition winners were awarded with gifts from AIB.
